Irrigation Technician

About the role

The Irrigation Technician works full‑time on‑site in Abu Dhabi, ensuring that all irrigation networks across landscaped areas operate efficiently. You will monitor systems, adjust watering schedules and support the overall health and appearance of the grounds.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor irrigation networks, identify leaks or faults, and adjust watering schedules for optimal water usage.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and repair pipes, valves, sprinklers, and controllers.
• Record maintenance activities, report issues promptly, and follow safety and environmental guidelines.
• Collaborate with supervisors, facilities, and landscaping teams to meet service standards and client expectations.

Required profile

• Strong landscape maintenance and irrigation experience, including installation, operation, and upkeep of irrigation systems.
• Effective supervisory and communication abilities to coordinate with team members, contractors, and supervisors.
• Solid troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and implement timely repairs.
• Relevant experience in facilities management, landscaping, or horticulture, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and meet operational deadlines.
• Vocational certificate or diploma in landscaping, irrigation, or a related technical field is an advantage.
