Islamic Studies Teacher (A Level) – August Start

About the role

GEMS Education is seeking an outstanding Islamic A Teacher to join its Dubai school in August 2026. The role involves delivering the Islamic studies curriculum to native Arabic‑speaking students in line with UAE Ministry of Education requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive and age‑appropriate Islamic studies lessons.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a safe learning environment.
• Assess student progress and report outcomes in accordance with curriculum expectations.
• Collaborate with colleagues on whole‑school improvement and CPD initiatives.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and professional standards.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Islamic studies to native Arabic speakers.
• Strong understanding of British or International school settings (preferred).
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
