About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Islamic Studies Teacher to facilitate learning, develop curriculum resources, and support the holistic development of our pupils in Dubai. The role involves creating a supportive classroom environment, developing schemes of work and lesson plans, assessing progress, and inspiring a deeper understanding of Islamic teachings.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate learning by establishing relationships with pupils.
- Organise learning resources and maintain an effective classroom learning environment.
- Develop schemes of work and lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Foster appropriate skills and social abilities to enable optimum development of children according to age, ability and aptitude.
- Assess and record progress, preparing pupils for examinations.
- Link pupils' knowledge to earlier learning, develop ways to encourage it further, and challenge and inspire deeper understanding.
Required profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Islamic Studies or Share'a.
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Dubai schools.
- Preferably holds KHDA approval.
