IT Analyst – Hotel Technology Support

About the role

The IT Analyst will deliver daily IT support for Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort, ensuring all hotel technology systems run smoothly. This includes hardware, software, network connectivity and specialised hotel applications while providing excellent service to staff and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support for hardware, software, network connectivity and hotel IT systems.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, printers, telephones, network equipment and other IT devices.
• Support hotel systems such as PMS, POS, PABX, Wi‑Fi, access control and other operational technology.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, escalating complex matters to the IT Assistant Manager or external service providers.
• Manage user accounts, system access, software installations, updates and security patches.
• Maintain IT equipment inventories, software licences, warranties and service records.
• Assist with backups, cybersecurity, business continuity and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance, repairs and technical support.
• Set up IT equipment and accounts for new Heartist onboarding and provide basic training.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT support within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and organisational abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
