IT Asset Specialist (UAE National)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Asset Specialist to join Core42’s Information Technology department in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on installing, maintaining and supporting the company’s hardware infrastructure, ensuring end‑user devices operate reliably with minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and other peripherals.
• Perform preventive and corrective hardware maintenance, replace faulty components and manage warranties.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support, troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues, and install Windows operating systems and drivers.
• Support meeting‑room equipment and ensure proper functionality.
• Maintain accurate hardware inventory, track procurement, repairs, disposals and update asset records.
• Document maintenance activities, prepare reports, update SOPs and ensure compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• CompTIA A+ and ITIL Foundation certifications.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with desktops, laptops and end‑user hardware.
• Strong knowledge of the Windows operating system and Microsoft environments, including Active Directory.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with IT Asset Management and ticketing systems.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• UAE national (strongly encouraged) and a valid UAE driving licence (preferred).
