IT Assistant – Entry Level Technical Support

About the role

A company in Dubai is seeking a motivated IT Assistant to provide front‑line technical support and maintain IT infrastructure across its hospitality operations. This position focuses on resolving daily hardware, software, and network issues for end users while ensuring optimal uptime for guest and business systems. The selected candidate will assist with component‑level PC troubleshooting, support POS terminals and AV setups, coordinate hardware repairs with external vendors, and maintain accurate technical documentation across IT systems.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for end‑user technical support and IT helpdesk inquiries.
• Troubleshoot and repair workstation hardware, operating systems, and business software.
• Maintain network connectivity, Wi‑Fi access points, POS terminals, printers, and Audio Visual (AV) systems.
• Install, upgrade, and perform component‑level maintenance on desktop and laptop hardware.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors for hardware servicing, warranty maintenance, and technical repairs.

Required profile

• Fresh graduates, interns, or entry‑level candidates; Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows OS, PC hardware component repairs, local networking, POS hardware, AV systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Knowledge of helpdesk support protocols, technical problem‑solving, IT documentation, vendor coordination, and willingness to relocate to or currently reside in Dubai.
