IT Assistant – Hotel Technology Support

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira is seeking an IT Assistant to deliver first‑line technical support and maintain the hotel’s IT and AV infrastructure. You will work closely with guests and colleagues to ensure seamless access to technology services in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support to hotel guests and staff.
• Assist in assembling, configuring, and testing network components, hardware and software.
• Maintain computer hardware, software, and AV systems, including installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor daily backups, server hardware, logs and ensure system integrity.
• Install and maintain telecommunication equipment, IP PBX, IP‑DECT and mobile phone systems.
• Keep an up‑to‑date asset register for all IT equipment.

Required profile

• Junior school qualification or equivalent; a degree or diploma in a relevant field is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a 5‑star hotel IT environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent English; additional language is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
• Proven experience as an IT assistant or in a similar technical support role.
