IT Business Partner – Automotive

About the role

Al Rostamani Group is seeking an IT Business Partner to lead the relationship between IT and its automotive entities. The role focuses on shaping technology roadmaps, maximizing adoption of IT systems, and acting as the escalation point for major issues.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and embed an IT Business Relationship framework across automotive entities.
• Align new or changed products and services with business outcomes and mediate conflicting stakeholder requirements.
• Track technology trends, innovations, and vendor solutions to ensure relevance and commercial viability.
• Map business processes to IT initiatives and maintain a master IT project portfolio, including analysis, alignment, and prioritisation.
• Oversee IT service health, SLA management with internal and external vendors, and enforce central IT policies.
• Manage a multi‑disciplined on‑site and offshore IT team, acting as product manager for core automotive solutions.
• Drive change management, user engagement, and adoption of IT systems across the entity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related field.
• 8‑12 years of IT and business experience, with 4‑6 years in a similar role within the UAE.
• Strong business acumen in the automotive industry, covering vehicle sales, spare parts, services, CRM, and finance.
• Excellent documentation skills for AS‑IS/TO‑BE scenarios and ROI analysis.

Required skills

• Database management and report building using SQL Report Builder.
• Knowledge of automotive solutions such as Autoline, Autoline Drive, SAP DBM, and TitanDMS.
