IT Executive – E‑Commerce

About the role

The IT Executive – E‑Commerce will provide first‑level technical support for end‑user devices, corporate applications and the organisation’s e‑commerce platform, ensuring smooth operations across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and other peripherals, handling hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Manage the IT service desk: log, categorize, prioritize and resolve incidents and service requests using the ITSM system while meeting SLA targets.
• Support Microsoft 365 suite, email, Teams, VPN and other corporate applications, including password resets and access management.
• Perform basic LAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN and internet troubleshooting and coordinate with infrastructure teams for escalated network issues.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records, oversee provisioning, replacement, recovery and disposal, and assist with periodic audits.
• Monitor e‑commerce website availability, investigate transaction‑related incidents, and coordinate releases and enhancements with developers and vendors.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in large or multinational organisations.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills with fluency in spoken and written English.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

• Windows Server administration.
• VMware virtualization.
• Microsoft 365, Teams and VPN configuration.
• TCP/IP networking, basic firewall and WAN/LAN security.
• Desktop and peripheral support (PCs, laptops, printers, smartphones).
• ITSM ticketing systems.
