IT Field Engineer – Onsite Support (Al Ain)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Field Engineer to deliver on‑site technical support for educational institutions across the UAE. You will work directly with end users, ensuring their hardware and software environments run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day on‑site support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, telecom and network systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, documenting resolutions.
• Install, configure and update operating systems and end‑user applications.
• Maintain regular communication with the Service Desk and users until incidents are closed.
• Prioritise tickets, meet SLA targets and respond to critical incidents promptly.

Required profile

• BSc degree in a technical IT field.
• Minimum three years of experience in operating‑system support and end‑user device troubleshooting.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and problem‑solving mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid UAE driving licence and own transport.

Required skills

• Office 365 administration and all core applications.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as Remedy, ManageEngine, ServiceDesk or Ivanti.
• Solid understanding of network fundamentals.
• Desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting.
• Operating system installation, configuration and maintenance.
