IT Helpdesk Specialist (Remote)

About the role

The IT Helpdesk Specialist at ECO MY BAT provides remote technical support to internal users and customers. The role focuses on timely ticket resolution, hardware and software troubleshooting, and maintaining a secure, stable IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to helpdesk tickets, diagnose hardware, software, and network issues, and guide users to solutions.
• Set up user accounts, manage access permissions, and perform basic system and application configuration.
• Escalate complex problems to senior technical staff when necessary.
• Monitor system and network status, document incidents and resolutions, and contribute to knowledge‑base articles.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure a stable and secure environment.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in Information Technology with basic knowledge of operating systems, productivity tools, and hardware components.
• Experience in network administration, including routers, switches, Wi‑Fi configuration, and network monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting across hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Understanding of network security principles, user access control, and secure configurations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ (or equivalent practical experience) are preferred.
