About the role
We are seeking an experienced Manager – IT PMO to lead end‑to‑end planning, coordination, and delivery of large‑scale, high‑stakes technology programmes for a semi‑governmental client in Dubai. The role involves overseeing complex implementations, M&A integrations, and enterprise transformations while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead delivery of large, complex technology programmes, including M&A integrations and enterprise implementations.
- Define project scope, objectives, and success metrics aligned to business transformation goals.
- Build and manage detailed multi‑workstream project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Drive execution across cross‑functional and cross‑industry teams, ensuring accountability.
- Monitor programme performance, proactively managing risks, dependencies, and critical milestones.
- Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, methodologies, and delivery standards.
- Provide high‑impact reporting to senior stakeholders on progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Lead risk and issue management in high‑pressure, time‑sensitive environments.
- Maintain structured, audit‑ready project documentation and reporting.
- Coordinate with business, technology, and external partners during integrations and implementations.
- Conduct post‑implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
- Support strategic resource planning and capacity management across multiple concurrent programmes.
Required profile
- 6–8 years of experience in project management or PMO roles within a technology‑driven environment.
- Proven experience managing large‑scale, high‑value projects or transformation programmes.
- Exposure to M&A integrations and complex system implementations (highly preferred).
- Real‑estate experience is a plus, with cross‑industry project exposure.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leadership.
- Experience in client‑facing environments and international projects is advantageous.
Required skills
- Hands‑on experience with MS Project, Planner, or Jira.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project tracking tools.
- Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM (advantage).
