IT PMO - Portfolio Lead

About the role

Emirates Group is seeking an experienced IT PMO – Portfolio Lead to design and implement best‑practice portfolio management processes across its technology programmes. The role will drive lean PMO transformation, ensure alignment with strategic objectives and provide data‑driven insights for investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and embed a consistent PMO methodology covering schedule, resources, budget and performance metrics for all IT portfolios.
• Lead the shift to a Lean PMO, introducing objective milestones, lean budgeting and transparent reporting.
• Maintain portfolio data in Planview, produce real‑time dashboards and support senior‑level decision making.
• Coordinate change management, risk and issue tracking in line with governance guidelines.
• Contribute to annual budgeting, capacity planning and cost recovery activities.

Required profile

• Degree or Honours in Information Technology.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in portfolio/programme management supporting traditional and SAFe‑based delivery models.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Planview (PPM tool) for portfolio tracking.
• Experience using JIRA for agile project management.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with AI tools for administrative and reporting automation.
