IT Procurement Engineer

About the role

Cyber Sentinel Lab is looking for an IT Procurement Engineer to bridge business needs, vendor solutions and procurement processes, ensuring secure, scalable and cost‑effective technology for the company and its clients.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business and security requirements into technical specifications, statements of work and RFPs.
• Research, pre‑qualify and evaluate technology vendors, products and service providers against technical fit, cybersecurity controls, architecture, integration, performance, licensing and total cost of ownership.
• Coordinate demos, proof‑of‑concepts, technical workshops and vendor clarifications.
• Prepare evaluation matrices, recommendation reports and procurement documentation.
• Support commercial negotiations by identifying technical risks, dependencies and value‑optimization opportunities.
• Review contracts, SLAs, licensing terms and support models from a technical perspective.
• Maintain vendor records, technology inventories, renewal calendars and risk registers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, business technology or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT procurement, technology sourcing, solutions engineering or pre‑sales engineering.
• Practical understanding of cybersecurity, cloud services, networking, endpoints, software licensing and managed services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain technical and commercial topics to varied stakeholders.
