IT Solutions Quality Control Manager

About the role

The IT Solutions Quality Control Manager will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of quality assurance frameworks for ITD projects and systems. This role ensures compliance with RTA technology governance, quality standards and sector guidelines while driving cross‑departmental coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and periodically review technology QA frameworks and standards across ITD.
• Plan, direct and coordinate all QA and testing activities, defining acceptance criteria for project handovers.
• Conduct internal quality assessments covering usability, language testing, multi‑browser/device compatibility and deferred UAT items.
• Evaluate incident reports, coordinate corrective actions and oversee risk assessments to prevent operational failures.
• Prepare periodic quality performance reports, highlight trends and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify service improvement opportunities from user feedback and audit findings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, computer science or quality management (master’s preferred).
• 9+ years of experience (11+ years if only a bachelor’s degree) in quality assurance, testing and post‑launch evaluation.
• Strong project management background and familiarity with RTA frameworks such as AGF, TQA and IT governance.
