IT Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive IT Support Engineer to own and maintain our IT systems and infrastructure in a fast‑paced Dubai office. The ideal candidate will combine strong hardware, software and networking knowledge with a solution‑oriented mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, servers, cameras, access control devices and Wi‑Fi access points, performing preventive maintenance.
• Provide first‑level hardware troubleshooting and support.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services – manage user accounts, licenses, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
• Set up onboarding laptops, including imaging, application installation and account configuration.
• Monitor internet and internal network connectivity; liaise with telecom providers (Du, Etisalat) for installations and upgrades.
• Act as first point of contact for IT issues, log and resolve tickets using ManageEngine.
• Maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software, document configurations and incidents.
• Ensure secure disposal, data wiping of retired equipment and physical security of the server room.
• Train staff on basic IT procedures and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• 4+ years of corporate IT support experience.
• Hands‑on experience with a wide range of hardware devices.
• Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• ManageEngine or similar ITSM tool usage.
• Fundamental networking knowledge (LAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN).
