IT Technical Support Engineer

About the role

Al Gahwa Al Arabiya is looking for a proactive IT Technical Support Engineer to join the team immediately. You will be responsible for maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and providing end‑to‑end technical assistance to all users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line and advanced support for hardware, software, networking, and IT systems.
• Configure and manage email domains, accounts, and related services (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, DNS, MX, SPF, DKIM).
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, business applications, and tools.
• Set up, monitor, and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, routers, switches, firewalls and VPN connections.
• Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, scanner and peripheral issues.
• Perform system updates, backups, preventive maintenance and monitor performance for maximum uptime and security.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory and technical records.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors when required and ensure compliance with IT policies and cybersecurity best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in an IT Technical Support or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical tasks efficiently.

Required skills

• Hardware and peripheral troubleshooting.
• Software installation and configuration (Windows OS, common business applications).
• Email domain management (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, DNS, MX, SPF, DKIM).
• Network configuration and support (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, routers, switches, firewalls, VPN).
• System integration and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Backup, update and preventive maintenance procedures.
