IT Technician

About the role

Ultimate HR Solutions is hiring an IT Technician for a prestigious, well-established organization in the UAE. The role provides IT and telecommunications support and ensures that IT and creative technology equipment is properly installed, maintained and ready for use during exhibitions, events and daily office operations. It is an office- and site-based position that may involve extended hours and working at indoor and outdoor events.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the delivery and setup of IT equipment for exhibitions, events and employees.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot laptops, iPads, printers, touchscreens, interactive screens and live-streaming equipment.
• Keep equipment safe, efficient and cost-effective to run.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and fixed asset details.
• Report daily activities and updates to the Team Lead.
• Coordinate with clients and vendors and supervise outsourced manpower.
• Manage IT and creative technology stock according to storage guidelines.
• Support the telecom team with internet connections and network solutions when needed.

Required profile

• Relevant IT, telecommunications or technical qualifications are preferred.
• Knowledge of IT equipment installation and maintenance.
• Basic troubleshooting and technical support skills.
• Good communication, coordination and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work with clients, vendors and team members, and to supervise outsourced staff.
