About the role

American Gulf School in Sharjah is expanding its curriculum and seeks an enthusiastic IT/Design Teacher. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons in information technology and design technology, fostering creativity and academic excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver IT and design technology curriculum in line with school standards.
• Integrate technology tools to enhance learning experiences.
• Engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment.
• Participate in school development and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in IT, Design Technology or a related field.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience.
• Teaching credential or license.
• Native‑like English proficiency (IELTS 8+ preferred).
• Experience in an American or IB school is an advantage.
