Java Software Engineer Internship 2027

About the role

Revolut is looking for motivated Java engineering interns to join its Technology team for an 8–10 week paid programme in 2027. You will work on real‑world fintech projects, contribute to micro‑services and APIs, and gain hands‑on experience with a modern cloud stack.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers across multiple tech stacks to design and implement features.
• Build and maintain Java‑based micro‑services and RESTful APIs.
• Help optimise systems such as risk management, fraud detection and payment processing.
• Contribute to greenfield projects and enhance existing services.
• Track tasks, present progress to global teams and incorporate feedback.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a university programme in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong interest in fintech and building scalable software.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Willingness to relocate to a tech hub in Poland, Portugal, the UAE or the UK and spend part of the week on‑site.
