Joinery Draftsman

About the role

The Joinery Draftsman works on‑site at Arab Wood’s modern production facility in Abu Dhabi, creating detailed shop drawings for custom furniture and interior joinery. You will translate client requirements and design concepts into precise CAD layouts that guide fabrication and installation.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate AutoCAD shop drawings and cutting lists for kitchens, wardrobes, cabinets and other bespoke joinery items.
• Interpret architectural and interior design drawings, ensuring drawings reflect material specifications and manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate with designers, project managers and production teams to incorporate revisions and client feedback.
• Review site survey measurements, maintain organized documentation, and verify drawings meet quality and safety standards before fabrication.

Required profile

• Strong technical drafting ability with a solid understanding of joinery construction methods.
• Excellent attention to detail, dimensional tolerance awareness and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with designers, engineers and on‑site teams.
