Journey Coordinator (Dispatcher) – Accessible Transport

About the role

The Journey Coordinator is the nerve centre of Eunoia’s accessible transport operations, ensuring every trip runs safely, on schedule and with real‑time communication between drivers, care staff, clients and families. The role blends logistics expertise with passenger‑care advocacy, requiring quick problem‑solving and a focus on rider dignity.

Key responsibilities

• Assign daily trips to drivers and care companions based on availability, route proximity and client needs.
• Monitor vehicle GPS, adjust schedules for traffic, breakdowns or emergencies, and confirm dispatch and arrival times.
• Serve as primary contact for families, case managers and caregivers before and during rides, escalating incidents as needed.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, incident reports and field communication records to meet DHA/RTA compliance.
• Support field staff in completing digital forms, attendance and trip updates.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in dispatch, scheduling or paratransit operations.
• Fluent English; Arabic, Tagalog or Urdu a plus.
• Familiarity with UAE road networks and GPS routing tools.
• Emotionally resilient, able to handle sensitive situations under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with dispatch software and trip‑scheduling platforms.
• Experience using GPS routing tools such as Google Maps, Waze and fleet‑management systems.
• Ability to use digital communication tools for real‑time updates.
• Basic knowledge of UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) compliance.
