Junior Accountant – Hospitality Finance

About the role

Bla Bla by McGettigan’s, a multi‑award‑winning beachfront lifestyle destination in Dubai, is looking for a Junior Accountant to support its finance team. You will work closely with operations and management to ensure accurate monthly closings, expense tracking and compliance with UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with month‑end closing activities and basic financial reporting.
• Process invoices, vendor payments and revenue reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain journal entries, ledgers and perform account reconciliations.
• Track expenses, monitor cash flow and support VAT and corporate tax compliance.
• Collaborate with the operations team to verify POS revenue and cash handling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field; ACCA/CPA studies are a plus.
• Strong foundation in basic accounting principles and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑energy hospitality environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
