Junior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance team in the iGaming and Fintech sectors. You will work closely with the Senior Accountant, handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks and ensuring accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions accurately in ZOHO Books.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, payment gateways, wallets and merchant accounts.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including journal entries.
• Prepare and maintain accounting schedules, supporting documentation and filing.
• Support VAT, tax and regulatory compliance by preparing required schedules.
• Contribute to management reporting and ensure adherence to internal controls.
• Carry out other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by the Senior Accountant.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Good knowledge of VAT, taxation and statutory compliance.
• Excellent numerical accuracy, analytical mindset and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ZOHO Books or similar accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, formulas).
• Experience in bank, payment‑gateway and merchant‑account reconciliations.
