Junior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Ajman. The role focuses on manufacturing and industrial accounting, supporting daily operations and ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process day‑to‑day accounting transactions, reconciliations and maintain financial documentation.
• Perform industrial and cost accounting tasks, including production costing and cost tracking.
• Maintain accurate inventory accounting records and monitor manufacturing‑related financial processes.
• Prepare financial reports and ensure adherence to company accounting procedures.
• Support VAT and Corporate Tax calculations, documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Utilise ERP and accounting systems to keep financial data up‑to‑date.
• Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing activities, meeting reporting deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably across at least two companies.
• Arabic speaking ability is mandatory.
• Experience in perfumes, fragrances, cosmetics, FMCG or manufacturing industries is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Practical experience in industrial accounting, cost accounting, production costing, inventory accounting and manufacturing accounting procedures.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems.
