Junior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join a leading UAE corporate group operating in manufacturing and FMCG sectors in Ajman. The role involves handling daily accounting transactions, cost accounting, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Record day‑to‑day general accounting entries and perform bank reconciliations.
• Execute industrial and cost accounting functions, including production cost calculations.
• Maintain accurate inventory valuation ledgers and monitor financial workflows linked to factory production.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, managerial reports, and year‑end closing files.
• Support tax calculations, filings, and documentation for UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.
• Input and audit financial data using ERP platforms such as Phoenix Accounting System or SAP.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably across at least two companies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Fluency in spoken and written Arabic is mandatory.
• Availability to join within two weeks of offer.

Required skills

• Practical experience with Phoenix Accounting System.
• Practical experience with SAP.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting, and UAE VAT/Corporate Tax frameworks.
