Junior Accountant

About the role

Golden Jamix Readymix Concrete L.L.C. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support its financial operations in Sharjah. The position is full-time and involves helping with daily transactions, account reconciliations, financial documentation and routine reporting. Applicants with UAE accounting experience, good numerical skills and immediate availability are preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting activities, including invoices, payments, receipts and petty cash transactions.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform bank reconciliations and help maintain accurate financial records.
• Organize and maintain accounting documents and transaction records.
• Support the finance team with routine accounting duties and financial reporting.
• Ensure financial data and supporting documents are processed accurately and on time.
• Review transaction details to identify discrepancies and keep reliable accounting records.

Required profile

• At least two years of accounting experience; UAE accounting experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field (the original advert does not confirm a specific qualification).
• Strong numerical, organizational, communication and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Immediate availability is preferred.

Required skills

• Understanding of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications.
• Ability to manage invoices, payments, receipts, petty cash and financial documentation.
