Junior Accountant - VAT

About the role

KLOUDAC Accounting & Bookkeeping LLC is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Accountant – VAT to join its Tax and Accounting team in Dubai. This entry‑level position offers practical exposure to UAE VAT compliance, client management and FTA procedures, ideal for ACCA students, affiliates or recent graduates.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and reviewing UAE VAT returns and related documentation.
• Review sales and purchase invoices for VAT compliance and perform VAT reconciliations.
• Support VAT registrations, amendments, deregistrations and refund applications.
• Respond to FTA enquiries, assessments and information requests.
• Identify missing documents, incorrect VAT treatments and potential compliance issues.
• Coordinate with accounting teams to ensure correct transaction recording before filing.
• Maintain accurate VAT working papers, filing records and client documentation.
• Monitor filing deadlines to ensure timely submissions.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing ACCA, an ACCA affiliate, or a recent graduate in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Strong interest in UAE VAT and taxation with basic accounting knowledge.
• Attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work responsibly within deadlines and as part of a team.
