Junior AI Software Engineer

About the role

Our client is looking for Junior AI Software Engineers to join their growing engineering team and build AI‑powered products and applications. This is an ideal opportunity for software engineers with 2–4 years of experience who have started working with Generative AI, large language models or AI applications and want to advance their career in AI.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain AI‑powered applications, APIs and services.
• Develop scalable backend and full‑stack software.
• Integrate large language models, AI APIs and third‑party services.
• Contribute to retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), AI agents and agentic workflows.
• Work with cloud technologies, primarily Microsoft Azure.
• Use modern engineering practices such as Docker, Git, testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, AI specialists and product teams.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or Java.
• Experience with APIs, backend development and modern software engineering practices.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, Docker and CI/CD.
• Genuine interest in Generative AI and AI application development.
