Junior Buyer – Luxury Retail

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Junior Buyer to join its Retail team, responsible for sourcing premium and luxury products for a 5‑star resort clientele. The role involves managing the full buying cycle, from product research to delivery on the sales floor.

Key responsibilities

• Research, identify and source premium and luxury products across multiple categories suitable for a 5‑star resort.
• Build and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers and negotiate pricing, payment terms, margins and exclusivity agreements.
• Monitor sell‑through rates, manage markdowns and protect gross margins across all store categories.
• Collaborate with store operations to develop planograms, fixture allocations and visual merchandising standards.
• Generate regular sales performance reports, category analysis and buying recommendations for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Fashion Merchandising or a related field.
• 4–6 years of buying/procurement experience in retail, preferably within luxury hospitality or premium lifestyle brands.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management and financial planning abilities.
• Knowledge of the UAE/GCC market and consumer preferences is a strong advantage.
