Junior Data Analyst

About the role

Emirates SkyCargo is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join its cross‑functional Enterprise Data & Analytics team. You will work autonomously on data sourcing, transformation, and reporting to support business stakeholders across the Emirates Group.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in collecting data dictionaries and creating business glossaries.
• Maintain core data repositories and analytics inventory documentation.
• Support the manager with administrative tasks and deliver ad‑hoc data analysis.
• Conduct data profiling, recommend cleansing rules, and resolve data quality incidents.
• Incorporate business transformation rules into solution designs and mapping documents.
• Perform rudimentary data gap analysis against existing repositories.
• Document data interfaces, including source‑to‑target mapping, transformation rules, and validation controls.
• Review technical solutions to ensure they meet analytical requirements.
• Assist with source system identification and profiling during new initiative discovery.
• Stay current on data and analytics domains and help keep business glossaries up‑to‑date.
• Collaborate with senior analysts and chapter leads to up‑skill on data‑engineering tools.
• Support user training sessions and prepare related materials.

Required profile

• 12 years of schooling or equivalent.
• Relevant degree (e.g., Computer Science, Computational Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering) with possible specialization in Data & Analytics.
