Junior Engineer – Facilities Management (Dubai)

About the role

Transguard Group is seeking a Junior Engineer to join its Total Facilities Management team in Dubai. The role supports MEP operations across multiple sites, working closely with supervisors, team leaders, and technicians to ensure smooth service delivery and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily MEP tasks and support technicians across electrical, HVAC, and plumbing disciplines.
• Review, track, and close work orders using CAFM/CMMS systems.
• Identify recurring issues and help develop practical solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors and OEMs during maintenance, shutdowns, and commissioning.
• Support small‑scale projects, system upgrades, and basic performance monitoring.
• Help manage service providers and ensure contract compliance.
• Prepare technical reports, asset condition summaries, and assist with budget tracking.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 2–3 years of facility‑management experience, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
• Experience supervising technical teams and handling multiple services.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional languages a plus.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of LV electrical systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC (chilled water and DX) and plumbing setups.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Familiarity with safety standards, quality checks and compliance requirements.
• Experience with inventory tracking and spare‑parts management.
• Training or experience using CAFM/CMMS platforms for work‑order management.
• Awareness of QHSE procedures and emergency protocols.
• Foundational knowledge of facility‑management practices.
