Junior Estimation Engineer – Metal Fabrication (Ajman)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Estimation Engineer to support cost estimation and bidding activities within a metal fabrication environment. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates for sheet‑metal projects, assisting senior estimators, and collaborating closely with engineering and procurement teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze 2D/3D technical drawings to calculate material, labor and finishing costs for sheet‑metal fabrication.
• Use Odoo ERP to input data, manage Bills of Materials and track project estimates.
• Assist the Senior Estimator in preparing comprehensive commercial bids and quotations.
• Perform material take‑offs and coordinate with procurement for current market pricing of stainless steel, aluminum and mild steel.
• Help evaluate manufacturing processes (laser cutting, bending, welding, powder coating) to propose cost‑effective solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in sheet‑metal or metal fabrication estimation.
• Proficiency in Odoo ERP and AutoCAD; familiarity with SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software is a plus.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Currently based in the UAE and available for face‑to‑face interviews.
• Strong mathematical aptitude, attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
