Junior French-Speaking Accountant – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a Junior French‑Speaking Accountant to join our fast‑growing fiduciary firm in Dubai. The successful candidate will support French‑language clients with accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance across the UAE and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure timely recording of all transactions.
• Handle UAE and European tax returns, compliance filings and advisory services.
• Provide tax planning advice to minimise client liabilities.
• Reconcile bank accounts and produce monthly bank statements.
• Ensure adherence to local accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver comprehensive financial support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Fluent in French (written and spoken).
• Substantial experience with French taxation, preferably in a fiduciary or accounting environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE tax regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
