Junior Indirect Procurement Specialist

About the role

The position is responsible for managing indirect procurement for CAPEX, OPEX, services and related business requirements, covering supplier sourcing, purchase‑order creation, delivery follow‑up and vendor payment. The role also handles daily purchase requisitions, coordinates with finance and internal stakeholders, and ensures compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Check daily released purchase requisitions for assigned departments.
• Send supplier enquiries, obtain quotations and create purchase orders.
• Review previous procurement prices for repeat orders and negotiate purchase terms.
• Attach supporting documents in SAP before purchase‑order creation and release.
• Follow up deliveries, resolve supply issues and update SAP with delivery and order‑status information.
• Coordinate with Finance to clear vendor payments on time.
• Maintain supplier relationships and communicate with internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the pharmaceuticals industry.
• Experience with procurement software; SAP Ariba is an advantage.
