Junior MEP Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior MEP Engineer to supervise daily mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) installation activities on site. You will work closely with consultants, subcontractors and the engineering team to ensure all works meet approved drawings, quality standards and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical and related civil works.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, material submittals and project specifications.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress against schedule and report daily/weekly updates.
• Raise material requests, verify quantities and support subcontractor payment certification.
• Prepare inspection requests, liaise with QA/QC and ensure all testing and documentation are completed.
• Enforce HSE procedures, participate in toolbox talks and monitor productivity.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, snagging, handover and preparation of as‑built drawings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or MEP Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in MEP construction projects, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with local authority requirements and UAE regulations.
• Excellent coordination, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
