Junior Project Engineer – Oil & Gas

About the role

The Junior Project Engineer will support the Project Management and Engineering teams on Oil & Gas projects in Abu Dhabi. This role offers exposure to engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and project controls while ensuring compliance with HSE, quality and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and Project Engineers with day‑to‑day coordination, schedule monitoring and reporting.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, HSE, QA/QC and other disciplines.
• Review engineering documents, drawings, technical submissions and specifications.
• Participate in project meetings, maintain action trackers and prepare progress reports.
• Support site inspections, testing, pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
• At least two (2) years of experience working in the GCC region.
