Junior Quality Control Engineer

About the role

The Junior Quality Engineer supports the delivery of reliable, safe and high-quality technical services for ADB SAFEGATE solutions and systems. Working under the guidance of experienced Service and Quality Engineers, the role covers installation, testing and commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, technical reporting and quality activities, including identifying recurring issues, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement. It suits an early-career engineer wanting to build technical expertise in the airport and airfield environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support preparation and review of Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Checklists, and other technical documents.
• Document internal processes and help improve them.
• Ensure site and service activities comply with approved quality plans, specifications and method statements.
• Perform quality inspections and audits, and support testing and commissioning.
• Prepare and maintain inspection records, checklists, test reports and quality documentation.
• Verify calibration status of tools and test equipment.
• Identify quality issues and support continuous improvement.
• Ensure completed documentation of testing and commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation or a related engineering discipline.
• Relevant experience in QA/QC, field service, electrical installation, maintenance or testing and commissioning.
• Ability to read technical manuals, specifications, electrical drawings and schematics.
• Good command of English and willingness to travel.
