Junior System Administrator (Monitoring Team)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior System Administrator to join our Monitoring Team in the United Arab Emirates. In this remote‑first position you will help keep products and infrastructure healthy by responding to alerts, investigating issues and supporting incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor product and infrastructure health, handling 150–250 alerts per shift.
• Investigate alerts using Grafana dashboards, Zabbix metrics and runbooks.
• Troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers and resolve or escalate incidents.
• Support primary and senior duty administrators and take ownership of primary duty shifts after onboarding.
• Collaborate with a distributed international team across multiple time zones.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in system administration, monitoring, NOC or technical support.
• Strong attention to detail, reliable work ethic and ability to follow established procedures.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
• Willingness to work a rotating schedule including 5/2 and 2/2 day‑and‑night shifts.

Required skills

• Linux command‑line proficiency (SSH/VPN, Bash scripting).
• Hands‑on experience with Zabbix and Grafana monitoring platforms.
• Understanding of monitoring fundamentals and basic infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence for issue tracking and documentation.
