Kaizen Operations Drilling Support – MWD/LWD & Directional Drilling

About the role

The Kaizen Operations Drilling Support specialist will ensure the successful deployment and adoption of NOV’s Kaizen digital drilling applications. Working both on‑site at rigs and from the office, the role provides product training, technical assistance, and advisory support to drilling engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site and remote training for Kaizen digital drilling tools.
• Support customers during deployments, offering real‑time troubleshooting and guidance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Line, Field Engineering, Operations and Digital Commercialisation teams to capture feedback and improve the solution.
• Escalate technical issues following defined processes and maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Travel internationally as required to support field operations.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• At least 4 years of experience in MWD/LWD, directional drilling or drilling engineering.
• Strong familiarity with drilling practices and ability to interpret real‑time drilling data.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and communicate daily with customers and internal teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
