Key Account Manager – Construction Equipment

About the role

The Key Account Manager will promote, market and sell Volvo construction equipment across Dubai and the North Emirates. You will manage the full sales cycle, ensure customer satisfaction and meet budgeted targets while building strong client relationships and staying up‑to‑date with industry developments.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to revenue, unit sales and customer engagement through effective sales process management.
• Identify and target new customers and opportunities, creating action plans to secure new business.
• Manage customer requirements for on‑time delivery, handling lead‑times and product specification changes.
• Provide timely quotations and ensure order delivery with minimal receivable levels.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key contacts to drive repeat business.
• Cultivate new clients while retaining and growing existing relationships in the Famco database.
• Stay abreast of regulations, industry standards and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with Famco systems and demonstrate knowledgeable reporting to clients.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar sales role within the UAE.
• Experience with distributor and dealer sales, focusing on customer engagement and territory management.
• Proficiency in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of power products.
• Understanding of construction equipment industry standards.
