Key Account Manager – UAE & Kuwait

About the role

Abbott, a global leader in healthcare and rapid diagnostics, is seeking a Key Account Manager to lead strategic healthcare accounts across the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait. Based in Dubai, you will drive revenue growth and market penetration for Abbott Rapid Diagnostics’ infectious disease portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Own full sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution, ensuring revenue targets are met.
• Develop and nurture long‑term partnerships with hospitals, laboratories, government procurement agencies and healthcare networks.
• Collaborate with clinicians, laboratory leaders, emergency departments and infection‑control teams to integrate diagnostic solutions into patient pathways.
• Leverage business intelligence and sales analytics to identify growth opportunities and optimise account performance.
• Design customer‑centric, value‑based diagnostic offerings and integrated workflow solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of diagnostic sales experience in the UAE market; experience in Kuwait is a plus.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the healthcare sector.
• Strong understanding of point‑of‑care testing, infectious diseases and laboratory solutions.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with senior healthcare decision‑makers.
