About the role
BEAM Education is looking for a KG Team Leader for its Arabic section in Dubai. The role raises standards of student attainment across the curriculum, monitors and supports student progress, develops the teaching practice of colleagues and leads, manages and develops the subject and curriculum area.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and review syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, marking policies, assessment and teaching and learning strategies in the department.
- Monitor and follow up student progress and ensure a broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for pupils in line with the school's aims and the Principal's curricular policies.
- Work with colleagues to set aims, objectives and strategic plans for the department that fit the needs of students and the school's plans.
- Manage and deploy teaching and support staff, financial and physical resources to support the department development plan.
Required profile
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Kindergarten, Arabic Language or Islamic Studies.
- Experience of a Head of Department role or leading a department.
