Kids BJJ Mentor – Full‑time Teaching Role

About the role

The Kids BJJ Mentor will lead age‑appropriate Brazilian Jiu‑Jitsu classes for children in Dubai, fostering technique, discipline, respect and confidence. This full‑time, on‑site position requires planning lessons, supervising drills and maintaining a safe, supportive training environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured BJJ lessons tailored to different skill levels.
• Supervise warm‑ups, drills and technique demonstrations.
• Ensure a safe training environment and enforce safety protocols.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback and report to parents.
• Assist with class administration, event support and competition preparation.
• Collaborate with other instructors to uphold high training standards.

Required profile

• Strong Brazilian Jiu‑Jitsu skills with experience teaching or mentoring children.
• Patient, encouraging and safety‑focused approach to group management.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with young learners, parents and colleagues.
• Basic understanding of child development and age‑appropriate training methods.
• Ability to create lesson plans, adapt instruction and maintain an organized environment.
• Physical fitness suitable for demonstrating techniques and leading multiple classes.
• Commitment to inclusivity, cultural sensitivity and respectful behaviour in a diverse setting.
