Kitchen Steward - Heartists Cafeteria

About the role

Accor is looking for a hardworking, reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Steward to support daily operations at the Heartists Cafeteria in Dubai. The role ensures high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation across all kitchen and service areas. It is a full-time, permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, floors and workstations.
• Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, cookware, crockery and cutlery.
• Follow HACCP, food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ensure proper waste disposal and keep waste storage areas clean.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
• Keep dishwashing and storage areas clean and organised.
• Support the culinary team by making sure clean equipment and utensils are available during service.
• Report maintenance issues and hygiene concerns to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward or Dishwasher in a hotel, restaurant or cafeteria is an advantage.
• Physically fit, hardworking and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork, communication and time-management skills.
• An additional language is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene, sanitation and HACCP standards.
• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment safely.
