Kitchen Steward – Utility Cleaner

About the role

The Kitchen Steward supports essential cleaning operations across the hotel’s kitchen, food‑and‑beverage, and laundry areas. Working at The Ritz‑Carlton Abu Dhabi, you will ensure that all dining ware, linens and equipment are spotless and ready for guest use.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain dish‑washing machines, hand‑wash stations, linen washers and dryers.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, plates, glasses and other dining ware.
• Transport dishware and linens between departments efficiently.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Follow safety procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and uphold uniform and appearance standards.
• Support team goals by maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and other departments.

Required profile

• No high‑school diploma or GED required.
• No prior related work experience needed.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and perform repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, pulling and stooping.
• Willingness to follow company policies, quality standards and safety guidelines.
