L3 IT Systems & Support Engineer

About the role

A law firm is looking for an experienced and proactive IT Systems & Support Engineer to support its day-to-day technology operations. This is a hands-on role working closely with lawyers, business services teams and technology vendors to deliver reliable, secure and efficient IT services. The position is based in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first and second-line support for hardware, software, Microsoft 365, networking, printing and mobile devices.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID and Intune.
• Deploy, configure and maintain user devices and endpoint security solutions.
• Manage user onboarding and offboarding, access permissions and software licensing.
• Support iManage Cloud, legal applications and other business-critical systems.
• Monitor system performance, backups, security alerts and service availability.
• Troubleshoot network, VPN, Wi-Fi and connectivity issues.
• Work with vendors to resolve technical issues and coordinate upgrades.
• Maintain IT asset inventories, technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Assist with technology projects, automation initiatives, AI solutions and continuous service improvements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration or a similar role.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and provide support in a professional services environment.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication and customer-service skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Windows Server and endpoint management.
• Experience supporting cloud-based environments and security technologies.
• Understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs and infrastructure support.
• iManage or document management systems experience is highly desirable.
• Exposure to Power Platform, automation and AI technologies is an advantage.
