Laboratory Technician – Microbiology, Dubai

About the role

CVRL is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support its microbiology diagnostic services. The role involves performing microbiological cultures, sensitivity testing, and pathogen identification while ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform microbiological culture, sensitivity testing, and pathogen identification.
• Process, label, and manage specimens in line with laboratory procedures.
• Maintain equipment and reagents, and carry out routine quality control checks.
• Document and report results accurately to the Laboratory Manager.

Required profile

• BSc in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Microbiology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety, biosafety protocols, and infection control.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in a microbiology or diagnostic laboratory.
• A master’s degree, familiarity with laboratory information systems, and experience with ISO 17025 standards are preferred.
• UAE Nationals are encouraged to apply.
