Labs Supervisor – Business Administration

About the role

The Labs Supervisor oversees the Behavioral Research Lab and computer laboratories of the School of Business Administration. The role ensures smooth operation of research infrastructure, supports faculty and student projects, and acts as the main liaison with IT, procurement, facilities and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the behavioral and computer labs, including scheduling experiments and maintaining equipment.
• Install, configure, test and troubleshoot research software and platforms such as oTree, z‑Tree, Qualtrics, Prolific and MTurk.
• Administer databases, participant recruitment systems and ensure compliance with privacy and ethics requirements.
• Provide technical support for data extraction, cleaning, visualization and preliminary analysis using statistical tools.
• Prepare regular reports on lab usage, software licenses, equipment inventory and budget forecasts.
• Coordinate software licensing, renewals and vendor relationships to guarantee uninterrupted access to research resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in laboratory management, research administration or research‑technology support, preferably in a higher‑education environment.
• Strong project‑management, organizational and stakeholder‑communication abilities.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.
