Land Surveyor – High‑Rise Buildings (Contracting Experience)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to support high‑rise building projects. The role involves conducting precise site surveys, setting out works, and ensuring all measurements align with design specifications and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform land and construction surveys using total stations, GPS, auto levels and other equipment.
• Set out building, road, utility and infrastructure layouts on site.
• Verify dimensions, elevations and coordinates against approved drawings.
• Prepare and maintain survey reports, sketches, as‑built drawings and records.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, consultants and subcontractors.
• Monitor construction progress to ensure alignment with survey data.
• Establish benchmarks and reference points on construction sites.
• Maintain and calibrate survey equipment.
• Assist with quantity calculations and earthwork measurements when required.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between site conditions and design documents.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in contracting or building construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings and site execution procedures.
• Ability to work independently under site conditions.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
